I met up with Adriana and Oliver at Lick Creek Park in College Station on one ~very early~ November morning for their engagement photos. This session might just be one of my favorites because we somehow managed to get photos with winter, fall AND spring vibes!
Adriana wore a red dress for part of their engagement photos, (which doesn't seem too out of the ordinary right off the bat) but once you hear the story behind how they met, you'll see why this was so perfect. In Adriana's words:
"We "met" at a mutual friend's Christmas party in Dec. 2020. By "met", I mean he spotted me from across the room and immediately took interest. That night I was known as "the girl in the red dress"! The next day at an Advent study, he came over to talk to the host of the party from the night before and used that as an opportunity to introduce himself. Two weeks later, I was invited to go on a group trip with other CYA (Catholic Young Adult) members to the Riverwalk in San Antonio (I didn't know he was going to be there, but he came because he knew I was going to be there), and we talked almost the entire night. Soon after we all left to go home, he called me and asked me on a date. I said yes, and the rest is history!"
Isn't that just PERFECT!? I LOVE how that little detail from the first time Adriana and Oliver met played a role in their engagement photos. I'm a sucker for things like this, haha.
I can't wait to photograph their wedding in May!!
